I decided to create a mock instagram account for my artist on my wix website: THIS PAGE which represents how the real instagram account would look like.
I went back to the list I made when I analysed other artists' social media pages, in order to get ideas for what images to look for:
Selfies or poses (mainly showing outfit and background) ✓
Musician being a musician… picture of their work-life (instruments...) ✓
Relatable pictures / short videos. Including silly content ✓
Images from music video / digipak photoshoot.. teasers ✓
Edits using the same editing effects as the mv/digipak ✓
Posters for music release, tours/concerts
Then I went through my phone gallery looking for pictures of the filming days, and any aesthetic pictures that might fit. I also asked my friends if they had any aesthetic pictures I could use.
Then I made a folder in my phone gallery with all of those pictures, and organized them into an "instagram feed" which would make sense for my artist to post. So I made sure that there weren't too many of the same type of pictures (such as too many of the "relatable" content where the actors aren't featured). I had to look for a picture of a guitar on pinterest which would match the artist, because I wasn't able to take a picture like that myself.
